Organised by Active Lancashire and Local Authorities from across the county, the awards celebrate sporting achievements, community initiatives and wellness in the workplace.
The event pays tribute to those that show dedication to perform at the highest level, regardless of their age. It also highlights individuals, clubs and businesses who work tirelessly to support their local community and create an environment where people can thrive.

This award is made to the coach or activator who has selflessly given up their time and invested their expertise to help those interested in sport and active lifestyles to improve their skills, confidence and realise their full potential. They have acted as a role model for many and shown a real commitment to improving the ability of others, both within the activity and beyond.
This award is given to a thriving organisation who have showcased that they are proactive and well-governed, working hard to retain and attract new participants. Shown great impact within their community to help encourage more people to live active lifestyles.
This award is given to a volunteer who has given up their free time to promote and support active lifestyles in a non-coaching capacity at a traditional sports club. Please note this category is open to all ages.
Presented to an individual or group that go the extra mile within their community by supporting others to participate in physical activity and providing innovative opportunities that make a difference.
This award is for an individual who has shown a consistent lifetime commitment (20+ years) and made a major contribution to community sport and active lifestyles within Lancashire.
This award is given to a Primary School that has gone above and beyond to support their pupils' physical and mental health, providing varying opportunities for all to access provision, regardless of their ability.
This award is given to a Secondary School that has gone above and beyond to support their pupils' physical and mental health, providing varying opportunities for all to access provision, regardless of their ability.
This award is for some of the most talented performers across the County, who show exceptional dedication to their sport and have the potential to perform at the highest level. Please note this category is for individuals up to the age of 18.
This award shines a light on those supporting others with their physiological health, mental wellbeing, health management or any of the wider outcomes supported by physical activity and sport, emphasising the vital role that being physically active plays in supporting health outcomes. Nominations are encouraged from organisations, projects and individuals.
Presented to those advocating for sustainability through actions that support environmental health, conservation efforts, resource management, or any broader outcomes bolstered by ecoconscious practices. The nominee should be recognised for championing the critical role that sustainable living plays in fostering a healthier planet for current and future generations.
